The line of the horizon

A novel disguised in radio, art, music, cinema, theatre, education, panel discussions and retrospectives

“The line of the horizon” is a greek novel written by Christos Vakalopoulos. For the last five years, Theros Ensemble has been working on the novel in a quest of a new theatrical language (both in terms of the medium and the context). This research lead us in “disguising” our upcoming theatrical production into a radio show, an art exhibition, a live concert, a film, a panel discussion and an education program.

14 radio producers, 11 artists, 15 film makers, 15 musicians, philologists, authors and researchers are invited to create works of art and participate in discussions and retrospectives based on the novel “the line of the horizon”. A full program including radio podcasts, a group exhibition, five group screenings, five group live music sessions and four panel discussions will take place (online) from Wednesday 23rd December 2020.

The group exhibition took place from 16th of June to 16th of July. Find out more here.

The theatrical production premiered on 23rd of September and will run until 17th of October. Book your tickets here and visit the official website for the entire program and detailed information: www.grammiorizontos.com
